The diffusion silicon pressure transmitter is made by encapsulating isolated silicon piezoresistive pressure sensitive elements in a stainless steel shell. It can convert the sensed liquid or gas pressure into standard electrical signals for external output. The RPT8100 series diffusion silicon pressure transmitter is widely used for on-site measurement and control of industrial processes such as water supply/drainage, heat, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, etc.

Semiconductor piezoresistive type
The semiconductor piezoelectric impedance diffusion pressure sensor forms a semiconductor deformation pressure on the surface of a thin sheet, and produces a piezoelectric impedance effect by deforming the thin sheet through external force (pressure), thereby converting the change in impedance into an electrical signal.
Electrostatic Capacity Type
An electrostatic capacitance pressure sensor is a capacitor formed by opposing the fixed electrode of glass and the movable electrode of silicon, and converting the change in electrostatic capacitance generated by the deformation of the movable electrode through external force (pressure) into an electrical signal. The operating principle of E8Y is electrostatic capacitance method, while other models use semiconductor method.
