With the rapid development of science and technology, high-tech has been widely applied in various industries. High tech magnetostrictive displacement sensors are used for liquid level measurement in various storage tanks. This type of liquid level gauge has the characteristics of high accuracy, strong environmental adaptability, and easy installation. Therefore, it is widely used in the field of liquid level measurement in petroleum, chemical and other industries. And gradually replaced other traditional sensors, becoming a masterpiece in liquid level measurement. In liquid storage tanks of PetroChina, Sinopec, and various industrial applications, the measurement of the liquid inside the tank is mostly carried out manually by climbing the tank and using a ruler for measurement. Measure with a metric steel tape with a heavy hammer or a ruler with a scale, manually record the reading, manually check the table for conversion, and finally obtain the oil quantity data. This measurement method not only has high labor intensity, but also has safety factors and cannot guarantee accuracy. In some places, capacitive/diffused silicon pressure level gauges are used for measurement. Due to the severe zero drift, large measurement deviation, and poor long-term stability of these sensors, they are not popular among users. Some places also use isobaric membrane level gauges or mechanical float level gauges. However, due to the significant temperature impact and air leakage issues of membrane level gauges, as well as the frequent occurrence of steel strip jamming in mechanical float level gauges, they have not been widely used.
